What to See at Juliet’s House

Take time for the courtyard, the balcony and the rooms above it.

The cobbled courtyard of Juliet’s House beside its ivy-covered wall

Start in the courtyard

Look up at the brick façade, the Gothic doorway, the trefoil windows and the balcony. The ivy-covered wall and its battlements frame the courtyard.

Walk through the rooms

Inside, paintings, engravings and sculptures follow the story’s long life in art, including Cosroe Dusi’s Juliet and Romeo of 1838. You can also see the bed used in Franco Zeffirelli’s 1968 film.
