Who we are and what this covers
Apollonaut (ABN 78367671612), Australia, operates Apollonaut.com. This policy covers this website and messages you send to us. Other booking websites have their own privacy information.
Apollonaut.com currently has no customer login, checkout, newsletter or contact form. We do not collect payment-card details or booking information through this website, and we do not run advertising or analytics scripts.
Information involved in a visit
- Technical requests: our hosting and content-delivery services can process your IP address, requested URL, request time, browser information, response status and related security or error information. This supports delivery, reliability, troubleshooting and protection against abuse.
- Saved experiences: the heart buttons store experience identifiers in your browser’s local storage. This site’s code does not send that saved list to an Apollonaut account or server. It is specific to the browser and device you use.
- Messages: if you email us, we receive your email address, message and any details or attachments you choose to include. We use these to respond to your request, handle concerns and keep relevant correspondence.
Please avoid sending passport details, payment-card information or other sensitive information that is not needed for your enquiry.
Page translation
The language selector uses GTranslate software and Google’s translation service. Google’s translation library can load when you hover over or focus the selector, or when a previous translated-language preference is restored. These requests can disclose technical information such as your IP address and browser details to Google. Translating a page sends page text to the translation service.
Language preferences can be stored in cookies. Browser privacy controls can block or remove this storage, although translation may then work differently. See our Cookies page, Google’s privacy policy and GTranslate’s privacy policy for more information.
Service providers and overseas processing
We use Kinsta for hosting and content delivery, and an email service to receive correspondence. Providers may handle technical information or messages to supply their services. Translation requests are handled by the translation providers described above. The website’s own fonts are self-hosted.
These services can involve processing outside Australia. Google operates servers in countries around the world, including the United States; hosting, content delivery and support may also involve overseas infrastructure. Their arrangements can change. You can contact us for information about the providers relevant to a particular enquiry. See Kinsta’s privacy information and the translation-provider policies above.
Information may also need to be disclosed where required by law. Following a booking link takes you to a separate website with its own collection and handling practices.
Storage and retention
Saved experiences remain in local storage until you remove them, clear the site’s data or your browser removes the storage. Technical logs are retained according to the relevant hosting and security arrangements. We retain correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to handle the matter and meet applicable record-keeping or legal requirements, then delete or de-identify it when appropriate.
We take reasonable steps to protect information we hold, including restricting access to people who need it. No online service can promise absolute security.
Access, correction and complaints
For a privacy enquiry, access or correction request, or complaint, email info@apollonaut.com or write to Apollonaut (ABN 78367671612), 1 Farrer Pl, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia. Describe the issue and the outcome you are seeking. We may need to confirm your identity before releasing personal information.
We will consider your request and respond within a reasonable time. Where the Australian Privacy Act 1988 applies to us and the information concerned, access, correction and complaint rights apply subject to that Act’s exceptions.
If your complaint falls within the Privacy Act and you are dissatisfied with our response, or have not received a response within 30 days, you can consult the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner’s complaint process.
Keeping this policy current
Last updated: 27 October 2026. We will update this page when our information-handling practices change. New services, such as accounts or checkout, would need their own appropriate information before use.
