An Apollonaut travel guide

Information you can follow.

Our editorial approach begins with a simple question: where does this information come from?

The scope of this page

Research here means checking information used in our visitor guidance and cultural writing. It does not mean that Apollonaut operates a laboratory, employs an academic research department or has completed original scientific studies.

For the castle’s heritage pages, the first sources are the castle’s own published history and established reference works. These sources can be read directly through the links provided.

A method readers can inspect

  1. Start with the relevant source

Use the venue for its own visitor rules and history. Use an identified reference for dates, architecture and institutional facts.

  2. Keep time-sensitive details dated

Prices, opening hours, events and eligibility can change. A past exhibition or old tariff must not become a current promise.

  3. Separate fact from interpretation

A sourced date is different from a legend or an editorial impression. Make the distinction clear in the writing.

  4. Keep uncertainty visible

If sources disagree or a detail is unverified, omit the claim or explain the limit. Do not resolve a conflict by choosing the more convenient answer.

Reading prices fairly

A starting price, a venue admission price and the total charged for a booking are different figures. A useful comparison must identify the same access, visitor category, date, currency and included fees.

Our prices are €28 for an adult, €22 for seniors aged 65 and over and €16 for children aged 5–17, with our service fee included. We do not claim the lowest price or publish a market comparison; those claims would require current, comparable evidence.

Corrections belong with the content

The aim is to make source links and meaningful updates easy to find. A material correction should explain what changed rather than quietly leaving contradictory information elsewhere on the site.

The heritage and history copy was checked against the reading links below on 7 November 2026. This date records that review; it is not a guarantee that future opening hours or admission rules will remain the same.
