An Apollonaut travel guide

How Apollonaut researches its travel guides

Our editorial approach begins with a simple question: where does this information come from?

The scope of this page

Research here means checking information used in the site's visitor guidance and cultural writing. It does not mean that Visit Majorelle operates a laboratory, employs an academic research department or has completed original scientific studies.

For the heritage and city pages, we consult information published by the institutions responsible for the places described and UNESCO's account of the Medina.

A method readers can inspect

  1. Start with the relevant source

Use the venue for its own visitor rules and history. Use an identified primary reference for dates, architecture and institutional facts.

  2. Keep time-sensitive details dated

Prices, opening hours, events and eligibility can change. A past exhibition or old tariff must not become a current promise.

  3. Separate fact from interpretation

A sourced date is different from an editorial impression. Make the distinction clear in the writing.

  4. Keep uncertainty visible

If sources disagree or a detail is unverified, omit the claim or explain the limit. Do not resolve a conflict by choosing the more convenient answer.

Reading prices fairly

A starting price, a venue admission price and the total charged by a facilitator are different figures. A useful comparison must identify the same access, visitor category, date, currency and included fees.

Review the price for your selected experience and the final payable total during booking. This service does not claim the lowest price or publish a completed market comparison. Those claims would require current, comparable evidence.

Corrections belong with the content

The aim is to make source links and meaningful updates easy to find. A material correction should explain what changed rather than quietly leaving contradictory information elsewhere on the site.

The new heritage and architecture copy was checked against the reading links below on 8 September 2026. This date records that review; it is not a guarantee that future opening hours or admission rules will remain the same.
